Job Responsibilities

Chartering Specialist Job In UAE


5-10 years relevant and principal experience in energy sector working with an international Oil company/ Owner / Operator / Cargo Trader dealing with LNG and LPG Operation and chartering.

Provide technical support to the chartering team ensuring that all formalities are completed for the chartering activities


Job Specific Accountabilities:

Assist in activities relating to the chartering in / out of ships, providing administrative and technical support.

Prepare related documentations in order to meet requirements for ship utilization in line with standards and requirements.

Provides technical and administrative assistance during negotiation phase of the terms of charter in order to ensure achievement of terms and conditions commercially favorable and terms and conditions meet requirements.

Prepare reports and document and file relevant market information and ensure that required information is made available on a timely and professional manner.

Maintain data base and contact details of internal and external parties. Receive and advise information as instructed for smooth flow of chartering activities.

Coordinate with Gas Operations team to monitor the daily operation of LPG and LNG vessels in the fleet related to voyage and performance


University degree in a commercial discipline or equivalent qualification


Professional Certifications

Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (preferred)
