Subsidiary of BOURBON, Bourbon Offshore Surf is looking for a Deputy Vessel Manager Job description Reporting to

the
Senior Vessel Manager, you support Vessel Managers in the management of part of the Multi-Mission Offshore Support Vessels (MPSVs) specialized in underwater interventions.

Your integration and familiarization will take place in two stages when you take up your position:
- 4 to 6 weeks in the offices, with your team, the Fleet department and meeting all the departments
- Then 4 to 6 weeks immersed in a ship to meet the crews, discover the technical issues in practice of our vessels

As Deputy Vessel Manager, your missions will include the following, under the supervision and before validation of the Vessel Manager:

- Accompany and improve the HSE culture of the fleet
- Be in support in the management of preventive and corrective maintenance, in accordance to Bourbon maintenance standards
- Support on board in the preparation and conduct of various audits - Validate within BOS the proposed corrective actions and ensure their closure.
- Participate in customer satisfaction by preparing monthly technical reports
- Support the Vessel Manager in:
o The action plan for vessels
o The resolution of vessel anomalies (PR/PO monitoring, action plan)
o Budget monitoring
o Analysis technical aspects of the fleet (obsolescence of equipment, systems, proposals for improvements, conversion studies, etc.)
o Reporting
- Visit the vessels of its fleet during dry docks or mobilizations (2 months per year)
- Provide support during annual VTI (Vessel Technical Inspection) and reporting on preparation

These missions are carried out in conjunction with the Armament, Purchasing, HSEA, Management Control and Logistics Departments.
The Subsea fleet is mainly deployed in West Africa (Nigeria, Angola, ...) and in the Middle East where you may be called upon to travel.

This position can be upgraded to the function of Vessel Manager.

Skills

- You have 1 or 2 years of experience as an engineer in the maritime and/or industrial environment.
- You are reactive, rigorous with strong leadership, like teamwork (project mode) and want to integrate a dynamic universe where you can develop your skills.
- You master the Office pack tools.
- Given the international environment, your English is operational
- The position to be filled on a permanent contract
