Based in the Singapore Regional Office, you will primary be focused on driving Network execution within your assigned geographical scope. You will play a vital role in overseeing and coordinating the vessels’ scheduling to ensure timely arrival at their next designation. In this role, you are expected to also provide feedback on proforma schedules deviations and propose enhancements. 

 

Key Responsibilities

• Discuss proactively with Head Office (HO) teams and local Port operations Managers to prepare weekly game plan and potential scheduling priority.
• Identify and apprehend any potential issue to Network Execution with aim to propose to HO, ARO and local Port Operations Managers solutions and contingencies…
• Guide & support local Port Operations Managers for issuance of port specific berth plan to the terminal and local boarding agents
• Monitor progress of terminal and endeavor to eliminate wasted gang costs.
• Liaise with HO Operations managers and ARO to optimize schedules and reduce overtime expenses
• Inform all stakeholders including subsequent ports in case of deviation of the berthing plan
• Propose solutions to meet both moves & schedules requirements in case of spot problem
• Establish from all parties’ opportunities to improve port stay and reduce bunker consumption
