Senior Executive, Ship Planner

Job Responsibilities


  • Responsible for Central Stowage Planning of vessel's stability and safety.
  • Ensure break bulk acceptance, slot control, supervision and terminal performance.
  • Scheduling and controlling vessel operations.
  • Controlling operational slots and co-ordinate with bunker order.
  • Close co-ordination with Areas, Vessels and Terminals, to all vessel operational related matter.
  • Prepare RDR / SITREP reports, provide conducive stowage,
  • 4-eye check to onboard DG segregation.
  • Secondary Tasks not limit to vessel operations or reporting
  • Additional task whenever required, including overseas assignment.
  • Assist Team Leader in mentoring new Planners.
  • Assist Team Leader in Vessel/Terminal Performance reports.
  • Diploma in Marine Studies or at least 5 years’ experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Ability to work under pressure and tactfully
  • Highly driven, systematic and efficient
  • Analytical and meticulous
  • A team player who is responsible and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Possess strong communication skills
  • Willing to learn and show flexibility in accepting any given task
  • Good positive attitude and character.
  • Good experience in containership stowage planning and vessel operations background will be the recommended criteria, including high level of IT knowledge.
