Senior Fleet Personnel Officer

Job Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the Crew Operations of your assigned team and pool. You will coordinate and support your team of Officers in the daily operational tasks and also take care of the absence management. You will actively contribute in the Performance Management of your team. On the operational side, you will review and monitor contracts, manning plans and recruitment for the team. You will liaise with the crew on board, clients and agencies to ensure smooth operations and safe manning of the vessels – coordinating within your team and in accordance to contractual agreements with the owners. You assist and support our clients and your team in non-routine questions and monitor outsourced activities, ensuring their timely and accurate performance.


The position reports to the Fleet Personnel Manager.​

  • Commercial qualification/ Bachelor degree, ideally with Shipping background or sailing experience
  • 3-5 years experience in Crew Operations
  • 1-2 years experience in a Team leader position, ideally in Crew Operations
  • Strong communication skills and good coordination/ team-work abilities
  • Structured and process-oriented working style
  • Advanced English language skills
